Sure, the field was a mess, with players slipping all over the temporary grass sod, but the environment in CenturyLink Field in Seattle for the U.S.’s 2-0 victory over Panama in World Cup qualifying had players telling me they wanted to come back and play in Seattle all the time. With the return of Seattle Sounders player Eddie Johnson to the forefront of the U.S. National Team discussion, I was able to catch up with the forward for a Sports Illustrated .com article.
